Transform to Lead

I’ve spent much of my life mastering the art of doing — creating order, solving problems, making things happen. But as I slow down, I’m learning that being is what gives meaning to it all. Doing keeps things moving. Being keeps them aligned. True leadership — at work and at home — needs both.

Our inner winter invites us to slow down, rest, and listen. When we honour this phase, we discover that rest itself is a powerful form of productivity and self-care.

Between work, home, and a thousand daily things, I found myself frustrated because nothing went as planned. Then, while putting my daughter to bed, a question struck me: why do I complicate my life so much? Sometimes it’s not life — it’s us, tangled in expectations and “shoulds.” Letting go and softening our gaze can transform our experience.

The way we perceive life shapes the way we experience it. By shifting our perspective, we open the door to more calm, gratitude, and new possibilities. Small daily choices in how we look at the world can transform not only our inner life, but also the world we share with others.
